Techland has released the first patch for Dying Light: The Beast today, September 22, on PC. This is a minor patch, and is called hotfix 1.2.1. For now, it’s only available on PC and includes a small list of fixes.

No word yet on when console gamers will see the patch released, but it should be sometime this week once it passes certification.

Dying Light: The Beast’s Hotfix 1.2.1 Now Available on PC to Fix Indoor Rain

Per Techland, today’s patch fixes issues with the Indoor Rain and the Disturbed Day/Night Cycle.

Once the hotfix is live on all platforms, players can then expect the APEX Car Skin to be available in the in-game stash for those who pre-ordered the game or own it through the Dying Light 2 Ultimate Edition.

If you’re playing on PC, there’s also a gift handed out as a “Thank You” to players for leaving “very positive” reviews.

We’re expecting a bigger patch to be released soon, which will tackle bigger issues. Of course, we need to see this patch on consoles ifrst before that’s even part of the conversation.

In other horror gaming news, Silent Hill f is releasing in a few days, and we got our hands on it already. Read our review why this is one of the year’s best games, and should not be missed.
