Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Version 2.6 Released as January Update 1.019
Ubisoft has released Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s first-ever patch for 2026, and this ushers in a slew of fixes that affected gameplay, as well as a few technical issues too.
Called version 2.6 by the developers, console players will see the download appear as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora update 1.019 (complete version 1.019.000), and the complete patch notes are available below.

Notable changes or improvements:
- [All Platforms] The story selection screen should now appear correctly for all players when starting the game.
- [All Platforms] Fixed several missing textures in the world, as well as the Mangkwan Raider Knife Cosmetic texture in the store.
- [All Platforms] Fixed instances where the Sarentu’s head would not appear correctly in From the Ashes.
- [All Platforms] Fixed an important NPC not appearing during “Etuwa’s Fire – Part 2”.
- [All Platforms] Fixed the weapon and gear racks inside So’lek’s Camp not syncing with player progress.
- [All Platforms] Resolved an issue where So’lek would get stuck inside cliffs after performing aerial Finishers.
- [All Platforms] Resolved an issue that caused Story Progression to be shown at 90% even after completing all quests.
- [All Platforms] Fixed an issue where Character Override paint would not apply when in first person.
- [All Platforms] Fixed grenade crates being unlootable due to the grenade pouch being misidentified as “full”. This also fixes an issue preventing players from progressing the “A Blessing” quest.
- [All Platforms] Fixed some Mangkwan Raiders not registering as defeated.
- [All Platforms] Fixed Ikran Paints not being available after entering a co-op session.
- [All Platforms] Various visual fixes for cinematics and scripted sequences.
- [All Platforms] Various improvements to companion animations.
- [All Platforms] Various improvements to stability.
- [All Platforms] Various minor visual improvements.
- [PC] Fixed Ubisoft Connect Core Challenges not updating correctly.
- [PC] Fixed graphical corruption and flashing when using AMD Freesync and/or AMD Frame Generation.
- [PS5] Improved visuals when using HDR.
While the patch resolved a lot of problems, there are still a handful of bugs that are still being worked on, which are detailed in the known issues list.

- [All Platforms] Songcord and character models do not appear in the Songcord menu.
- [All Platforms] Several UI / Localization issues.
- [All Platforms] Crafting materials and food dish containers can be looted when the pouch is full, causing the loot contained inside to disappear.
- [All Platforms] Infinite loading can occur during “The Last Dog Tag” mission when flying on the ikran.
- [PC] Low quality textures are visible when using the default Object Detail value.
- [PC] When confirming video settings, the pop-up window’s “Revert” option does not work as intended.
