Skate Emergency Update 0.30.8 Released on May 15 as Patch 1.21/1.000.021
Full Circle has deployed an emergency update for the free-to-play game skate on all platforms, and this is to resolve an issue that literally made the game unplayable.
Called the version 0.30.8 patch, players on consoles will see this download as skate update 1.21/ 1.000.021. This should be a small download and is live on consoles and PC.

Skate Receives Emergency Update to Stop the Game From Crashing
Given this is an emergency patch, don’t expect any new content from this outside of fixes.
Bug Fix
- Fixed an issue where the game would crash if the player had their device set to French or German languages and their Voice Over settings to a non-English language, and attempted a ZexyZex Challenge.
Last week, a patch was also released that housed the following fixes:
- Fixed an issue where music could distort when entering and exiting Challenges.
- Fixed an issue where Late Flips were not landing as intended in certain scenarios.
- Fixed various stability issues.
Also of note, there was a creator collab event that kicked off earlier this week.
Per EA: For this debut drop, he cooked up a set of brutally difficult tasks designed to seriously test your Flick-It control, timing, and consistency. Not only that – he voiced these challenges! These aren’t casual runs—they’re technical, high-risk sequences packed with tight Line Challenges, crazy Stunts, and an OTL that will test how well you know your grinds. There’s going to be big gaps and zero room for slop. It’s exactly what he’s known for: challenges that demand precision, patience, and a willingness to battle until you stomp it clean. Challenges are focused on Isle of Grom, but there’s Tasks on both Grom and San Van.
Lock in, throw down, and clear them all! You’ve got 2 weeks to Shut it Down and get the Zexy gear.
Push through every challenge to earn the full Zexy set: Trucker Hat, Board, Shirt, and Cargo Pants. Beat them all and claim an exclusive Zexy title as proof you conquered it.
