In case you didn’t know, Computex is underway, with many top tech brands making an appearance to show off their latest products. But among the heavy hitters was HYTE, which, although it just released its new HYTE X50 cases less than a year ago, is already back with a massive surprise. That surprise? Well, a new Y-Series PC case, though this time they aren’t only targeting the enthusiasts, as the case drops down into a much more mainstream, budget-friendly territory without losing any of that signature aesthetic.

Here’s your first look at the HYTE Y50, the company’s most accessible PC case yet.

HYTE Introduces a $99 PC Case That Even Comes With RGB Fans

Taking to the stage at this year’s Computex, HYTE today announced a brand-new Y-Series case, the HYTE Y50. Dubbed HYTE’s most “accessible case” yet, the HYTE Y50 features the signature look of its premium Y70, minus the premium price. Just how much, you ask? Well, that’s the best part, as this case only costs $99. Not only that, but for the first time for any of the cases offered by HYTE, this one actually comes pre-stocked with some RGB fans. At $99, it not only makes for a perfect starter case but also offers an incredible, high-value foundation for those looking to scale up to an enthusiast-grade build down the road.

I think what makes this case even more exciting is that it is likely our first real look at what else HYTE may have brewing, as fans may notice it comes packed with features not found in any other Y-Series case. While they had to remove the riser for vertical mounting, it now allows them to make room for multi-GPU (Horizontal positioning) support and a capture card. Perfect for those content creators out there.

What’s more, HYTE has also redesigned several parts of the case. The most notable, which clearly takes a page from their recently released X50 series cases, is that the paneling has been redesigned with 3D-textured micro-mesh with Louvered Blade PCIe Ventilation slots on the backside.

The HYTE Y50 will also fully support Asus BTF, Gigabyte STEALTH, and MSI Project ZERO motherboards, which means you can have a PC case that nearly hides all cabling from the front, as those motherboards have back-connectivity.

They really weren’t joking about this being their most accessible case yet, as that $99 price tag packs quite a value.

Pre-orders are expected to go live on HYTE later this month, with a target release of Q3 this year. It will launch in Snow White, Pitch Black, Black Cherry, Strawberry Milk, and Taro Milk colorways.

But this wasn’t the only surprise HYTE announced at Computex; they also revealed a slate of new products and overhauls to existing ones.

Those who have been wishing for HYTE to enter the ARGB fan space will be happy to learn that they are launching the THICC FR12 RGB fans later this year, available in 120mm (Solo) and 360mm (Trio) configurations.

“Complementing Y50 RGB are a host of modern, stylish, and affordable accessories that further enhance customization and personalization opportunities for everyone’s setups. We listened to customer feedback, learned from our previous mistakes, and injected more of our innovative DNA into these products while ensuring they ship with zero proprietary bullshit so it’s all plug and play from day one!” said Ish Patel, Sr. Product Marketing Manager for HYTE.

They’ll be available in both traditional and reverse-blade options and are planned for release in Q3 of this year, with an MSRP of $44.99 for the Trio and $19.99 for the Solo. Additionally, their current FA12 fans are also getting a refresh with the new G2 models, slated to release later this year. Those will MSRP for $ 24.99 trio and $ 39.99 for Color (4-Pack).

Here’s what else they got coming this year:

  • Aesthetic Cable Extension Kits ($69.99 MSRP) – HYTE’s new Power Supply Unit (PSU) extension kits combine premium sleeved cabling, precision-crimped connectors, and durable 16-gauge silicone-insulated copper wiring to deliver reliable performance with a clean, cohesive look. Designed for easy routing and broad compatibility (12V 2×6 GPU, PCIe, CPU, MoBo), they simplify cable management while enhancing the visual flow of any build.
  • ARGB Noodle LN80 ($29.99 MSRP) – HYTE’s revised lighting accessory delivers flexible, premium ARGB ambient lighting with 215 degrees of vibrant glow. Designed to contour within HYTE’s Y40, Y60, and Y70 case for a clean, integrated look, it connects to standard ARGB headers – no controller or proprietary tech required – while offering fully customizable lighting for any build.
  • ARGB & PWM Smart Hub ($29.99 MSRP) – HYTE’s Smart Hub delivers an easy solution to expand ARGB and PWM connectivity with powered ARGB ports and four independently controlled PWM headers that go beyond simple signal duplication for full system control. A dedicated ID chip allows direct communication with HYTE’s Nexus software, all within a sleek, magnetically mounted design that maintains universal compatibility and clean cable management.

All of this is expected to launch in the next few months, with pre-orders soon opening up on HYTE’s official website.
