Gothic 1 Remake Update 1.000.008 Brings Version 1.0.2 Hotfix on Consoles
Alkimia Interactive has finally released the Gothic 1 Remake version 1.0.2 hotfix on consoles today, June 25. Players will see this download as Gothic 1 Remake update 1.000.008, and this should be a small download.
Given this is a hotfix, don’t expect any new content, or a long changelog. That said, this patch fixes the interaction with Xardas’ Demon not working, and applies more improvements to savegames.
For the complete list of changes, read on.
Gotchic 1 Remake Receives Hotfix on June 25
Here’s what’s new per the developers
— Fixed interaction with Xardas’ Demon not working.
— Improved savegame/profile logic.
— Added functionality to recover savegame profiles in case they are still there but not shown in the game.
— Fixed crash after interacting with a document that has pictures.
— Fix for Baal Lukor not dying in the Orc Cemetery for some players.
— Fixed an issue with crimes when using magic where the wrong instigator got assigned.
— Fixed relationships in the Free Mine raid.
If you didn’t catch it, Alkimia released the game’s biggest patch last week that added graphical modes on consoles, as well as story-related fixes.
While nothing has been shared, we assume the developers aren’t done updating the game just yet.
