Battlefield 6 Follow-up Update 1.000.033 Deployed on October 2
Following this week’s patch for Battlefield 6 that introduced improvements to the HUD and menus, DICE has pushed out a follow-up patch today, October 2.
At least on PS5, players can download Battlefield 6 update 1.000.033, and this should be a small download.
Given the big patch from earlier this week, don’t expect much from this outside of fixes.

So far, DICE has not explained what’s in today’s patch, but the studio did communicate about match and lobby continuity changes.
Per the developers, “Over the next few days, you might start seeing more familiar faces across consecutive matches. We expect this to be more noticeable in the official playlists where everyone shares the same map and mode rotation.”
With the change, the developers are “aware of a small error message displaying at the bottom right of the screen when joining a match. Gameplay and matchmaking remain unaffected while the team works on a fix.”
Chances are, today’s small update fixes error codes and stability improvements on the PS5 version.
We’ve reached out to EA, and if we hear a response, we’ll update the article with the info. In related news, DICE has outlined some of the Season 5 combat updates set to be applied to the game.
