Fallout 76 has come a long way since its original release, and players have been excitedly waiting for its newest expansion, Fallout 76 Expeditions: The Pitt for quite some time now. Now, Xbox has revealed a new story trailer for Fallout 76’s upcoming expansion, revealing its release date and teasing the details of its story.

The news comes soon after it was announced that support for the game would include the help of Sperasoft moving forward, and it seems like the help may already be helping the game along. The new expansion takes players back to The Pitt, the location of the fan-loved Fallout 3 to combat a cult of fanatics that worship radiation from the end of the world.

Exactly what the expansion will all include for players of Fallout 76 remains to be seen, but a change of scenery will definitely be welcomed by players that have spent years exploring the lands of Appalachia since the game’s release. Thankfully, Fallout 76’s upcoming expansion is not too far out, so players won’t have much longer to wait until they can see everything new that it brings for them.
