DICE has announced that Battlefield 2042 double XP weekend is kicking off starting today! We have the full schedule for that alongside new concept art for Season 4, too.

Here’s the announcement from DICE:
2XP will be active across all Battlefield 2042 modes from now (Dec 16th) until Monday, 19th December at 12:00 UTC/7 am ET/4 am PT/8 pm HKT.
While you can expect to see more 2XP events through Season 3: Escalation and beyond – Now is the prime moment for you to jump in, squad up, and work with your team to achieve those wins!
How do I know Double XP is active?
Site Notice – We’ve included a brand new icon for our Site Notice area, which will also include text that indicates whenever a Double XP Event is active in the game.
Below Modes – During a Double XP event, you will always notice a new tag below all of the modes that Double XP is active within.
In addition to that, new concept art has been revealed by DICE as part of its December Recap video that aired today.
As part of the 2023’s content plans, DICE has talked about Season 4 and even Season 5 already. You can read more about that here. However, for something happening much sooner, DICE has revealed the Battle of Nordvik event launching this December 20! This new event will feature new rewards and challenges for players starting next week.
