What Are Moogle Medals for?
Moogle Medals are a form of currency used exclusively at the Moogle Shop. Items for sale vary from crafting material, equipment, and manuscripts used to unlock new skills for characters. The last one is the big one, as those skills are very important to character progression and being able to take down stronger foes.
How to Get Moogle Medals Method #1: Complete Moogle Michief
The first means of getting Moogle Medals is through the Moogle Michief mini-game. Every region has a Moogle hut to be found, and each one offers a new Moogle Michief mini-game. The first completion of each minigame level will reward you with some Moogle Medals. Despite difficulty ramping in each new unlocked level, they aren’t difficult to complete.
How to Get Moogle Medals Method #2: Find Treasure Cache and Break Boxes Near Them
The second way to get Moogle Medals is by breaking specific boxes found throughout the game. These are mainly next to treasure caches, and there are plenty of those to collect. For every treasure cache spot, you can typically get two to three Moogle Medals. The boxes in question look like this.
There might be other methods to getting Moogle Medals, but these are the two that have gotten me the most and in the shortest amount of time. Plenty of the other items that the Moogle Shop sells are obtainable elsewhere, too, so you’ll really want to get those manuscripts first.
Pretty easy, and even if you don’t plan on completing those minigames right away, you should be on the lookout for those breakable boxes. They’re easy to spot and take little to no time to break.
