A Plague's Tale Innocence Update 1.09

Asobo Studio has released the A Plague’s Tale Innocence update 1.09 July 5 patch, which is in preparation for the game’s next-gen release tomorrow, July 6! This is mostly for the next-gen experience, which is free if you own the PS4 and the Xbox One version of the game. Of course, given it’s available as a freebie for the month via PlayStation Plus, PS5 owners don’t need to own the PS4 version in order to download this starting tomorrow.

A Plague’s Tale Innocence Update 1.09 July 5 Patch Notes:

Here’s the official info via Asobo Studio:

The next generation version features:

  • 4K UHD (on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5)
  • 60 FPS
  • 3D audio support

There’s also a Nintendo Switch version that will run on Nintendo’s cloud tech! Download the demo to see if your net is good enough to handle it.

There hasn’t been any mention of bug fixes and whatnot, and if we spot any, we’ll update the post.

If you’re wondering whether your Trophies can be migrated from the PS4 to the PS5 version, sadly, this cannot be done according to Focus Home Interactive — publisher of A Plague’s Tale Innocence.

If you spot any gameplay-related changes, let us know what you find down in the comments.
