AC Valhalla Weekly Free Item Feature Disabled Temporarily This January 17, Ubisoft Investigating

One of Assassin Creed Valhalla‘s newest features allows players to grab a free item from the game’s in-game store. It’s a neat addition that was introduced last December, but unfortunately, this AC Valhalla weekly free item feature has now been disabled due an “issue.”

AC Valhalla Weekly Free Item Feature Disabled Temporarily This January 17:

The announcement was made via the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter page, with the tweet noting that the feature is being disabled temporarily.

Until the AC Valhalla team manages to sort the issue out, players will be unable to redeem their free weekly item. This is unfortunate news for those looking to slowly build their collection of items from the store, but there’s not much to be done until a fix finally goes live.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is currently available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. While waiting for the fix to go live, check out our review of the game, where we gave it a solid 8/10 score. Our verdict: “There is a lot to love about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and personally it’s amongst my favorite in the series now. Enjoyable gameplay that lightens up on the RPG elements for the better, encased in a world with sights that are to be behold, Valhalla may have a slow start to it’s story, but the pay-off is well worth it. You just have to cope through the bugs and potential crashes, though we’re sure the developers are already hard at work with fixing these issues.”
