During the Age of Empires 25th anniversary event today, franchise publisher Xbox Game Studios revealed that the real-time strategy series will finally be available in an on-the-go format with Age of Empires Mobile, along with a teaser trailer that provides an indefinite “Coming Soon” release date.

The game will be developed by World’s Edge and published by Xbox Game Studios. No particular details about the gameplay have been revealed, but more information about the game will come soon according to the publisher:

The Age of Empires 25th anniversary event today was host to multiple significant reveals: Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition and Age of Empires 4 are coming to Xbox in 2023, and the launch trailer for the Age of Empires 4: Anniversary Edition update showcased the new civilizations and maps coming to the game with the update, which is live now.
