This patch is to fix a character data loss plaguing players across all platforms after the Season 4 patch. Here’s the announcement from Cold Iron:
In order to avoid this issue, please do not accept an invite from a loading screen. Please only accept invites once you are in the Endeavor hub.

We’re aware of a rare issue that has resulted in a loss of character data for some players across platforms. Our team is currently working on a hotfix that aims to find a solution for all affected players.
