Astro Bot Credits Hint at Potentially Unreleased Crossovers, Which Includes Stellar Blade, Assassin’s Creed, and More
While Team Asobi’s Astro Bot is already packed with crossover content with other gaming franchises, it seems that based on the game’s ending credits, more are on the way.
If you finish the game and watch the end credits, you’ll see the copyright trademarks for gaming franchises not featured in the game in any way, shape or form.
Chief among the games mentioned that didn’t appear in Astro Bot is Shift Up’s Stellar Blade, Worms by Team17, KOEI Tecmo’s Rise of the Ronin, Ubisoft’s Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil, Assassin’s Creed franchises, and even Argonaut Games’ Croc Legend of the Gobbos!
While Astro Bot includes references and cameos from big franchises like God of War, Street Fighter, Tekken, Resident Evil and the like, the games mentioned above didn’t surface at all in the entire playthrough, which suggests that these are part of the game’s post-launch support. Of course, if ever these games’ licenses are pushed into Astro Bot, there’s no word whether they’ll be paid DLC or will be released for players as part of free updates and whatnot.
While Astro Bot might not be seen as a major franchise just yet, that might be changing, as the game currently has an astounding 94 average on Metacritic across 115 critic reviews which is just unheard of.
