Larian Studio flexes some impressive Baldur’s Gate 3 stats, as the studio has revealed that over 1.3 million players have already beaten the main story since the game’s launch last August.
The studio took to X this morning to celebrate the impressive in-game milestones that Baldur’s Gate 3 has reached since launch. One of them is that over 1.3 million players have already beaten the game. While they have yet to reveal any sales numbers around the game (likely waiting for the Xbox version to ship), that high completion number is insanely impressive for a new title to hit in such a short amount of time. They went on further to reveal other Baldur’s Gate 3 stats, which you can view below.

- 94% of players created a custom character.
- In total, players have spent a combined 8196 years in the Character Creator.
- 1.24 million players have been transformed into a sentient wheel of cheese.
- Gale is the most-played Origin Character in the game.

- 2 million players have survived a dinosaur attack.
- 84 million fireballs have been thrown, which is also the leading cause of eyebrows loss among wizards.
- Scratch has been pet 48.5 million times. He thinks it’s great and all but frankly he just wants his ball back already.
- Players have spoken to over 113 million corpses since launch. They all thank you for the conversation and apologies for the smell.
- Shadowheart is the most popular romantic interest with 51.3% of players reaching the final act of her romance arc, followed by Karlach and Laezel.
- 14.4 million characters have been disintegrated into a pile of fine gray dust.
- Given the option, 66% of players request that Halsin bare all — not bear all.
- 1.2 million characters have been compelled to dance against their will.
- By Act 2, 30.4% of players have given in to their illithid side and flexed their powers.
- Total playtime – 453,556,984 hours or over 51,662 years.
- ~158K playthroughs were started in Honour mode.
- Over 34,000 players died in Honour mode.
- 464 parties have already completed the game in Honour mode.
Quite the impressive list of stats! We expect these numbers to jump as we head into Christmas later this month. That, and the Xbox release, which will be announced at The Game Awards should bring a good boost to the game.
