As promised by DICE in March, Battlefield 2042 all chat functionality is indeed on the way! It will be available via. “minor” quality of life patch set to be released by DICE.

If you’re not familiar with all chat, this is an in-game feature where players can talk to both their teammates and enemies. Aside from all chat, this patch should also bring in the Leviathan Rising event, which is kicking off on April 11. While there’s no release date for patch 4.1.1 just yet, we’re betting it’ll be out on April 11 since it’s a Tuesday, and devs seems to like rolling out patches every Tuesday. Once the patch notes and actual update are out, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
