While DICE has already confirmed that we’ll be getting Season 6 of Battlefield 2042, not much is know about it other than we’ll be getting a new map. Well, if BF2042 Senior Producer Ryan McArthur’s hints about it are anything to go by, it might not be what players are expecting.

In an interview. McArthur states that BF2042 Season 6 will offer “interesting moments” that players didn’t expect, but will still feel like Battlefield.
I think Season 6 is going to be one of those really interesting moments where people are going to go, ‘well, I didn’t expect that, but that’s really Battlefield.’ And I think that’s the kind of thing we want to go after right now. How do we move forward and give our players more, but still Battlefield.”
Does this mean we’ll get more than one new map, a few new Vault Weapons and a mid-season event? Maybe, maybe not, but I gather, players wouldn’t say no to something new.
What are you hoping to see in the game’s upcoming season? Do you think DICE can offer something different from what we’ve seen in the game’s past few seasons?

What players? Nobody plays it. They alientated a portion of their base with their woke, ESG garbage that I’m sure they have EA to thank for that and pushed away another portion with really stupid changes ro the formula.
I exponentially lost i terest with any game after 4 but I did try 2042 once it was free to play and couldnt even stand the tutoral.

I wonder if after 6 seasons they can figure out the complex coding to make the firemode selected of guns persistent. It only took them 5 to aff the exit-looking-direction feature back to vehicles lmao, let’s see. Also I hope they remake that garbage Canadian map if remakes are on the table.

Take out kill tagging. And put in spawn camera. Also what happened to maps that get flooded. No boats no motorcycles. Go play BF4 and come back. I feel they forgot what made that game great.
Well, this is still considered one of the worst titles in existence for Battlefield. What truly killed it? PC players, battlepass, lack of support and so much more. We hate playing against PC but now have zero choice not to because we can’t find a game. The vs AI mode has restricted XP and they focus on updating maps, Battlepass nonsense and so many other things that simply don’t matter. So, what should this game have been called?
Battlefailed: CoD PC edition.
Tell it like it is, well versed. They need to beg the BF 4 devs back to help right this sinking ship.

Need More old maps and more guns
Just don’t hurt our feelings with another crap shoot that was Hardline, that was a terrible, no that was an evolutionary FAILURE. My thing is if you introducing an entire wetsuit scuba gear skin, then at least bring back the option we had to literally swim and dive as it was in BF 5. Then you guys missed the mark big time when there was no Normandy Landing.
