With today’s Battlefield 2042 patch, DICE is also introducing The Liquidators event into the game where players can earn new cosmetic items and rewards. Unfortunately, it seems things haven’t gone exactly as planned, as the studio has announced that it has disabled the Battlefield 2042 The Liquidators event temporarily.
Update: DICE has announced that the event is now live!
The Liquidators Event is now live and this issue is now considered resolved by the team
We appreciate the patience you have shown us as we worked to resolve the issues we encountered.

According to the official Battlefield Direct Communications Twitter account, DICE is disabling the event due to rewards and progress are not tracking properly. Once the event is back on, they’ll let the players know.
We are temporarily disabling the The Liquidators Mid-Season Event.
We're seeing that the Unlock Rewards and Progress for the Event are not tracking correctly, and cannot be equipped when showing as Unlocked.
We'll follow-up once we're ready to turn the Event back on. pic.twitter.com/XmyyEN9w35

As the first mid-season event of the game, this is definitely not a good look for the studio (and the title). If you’re curious what the rewards and challenges are in the event, head on over here. At the very least, players have the weekly challenges to look forward to later today, so there’s at least that, no? Once the event has been restored, we’ll update the article accordingly.
