The rumors have been confirmed to be legit, and It’s official, Battlefield is getting a Battle Royale Mode, which will be available to play in Battlefield Labs very “soon.”

Although details are next to none, EA and the Battlefield Studios did release a short teaser of the mode.

“And It Burns, Burns, Burns, The Ring of Fire, The Ring of Fire.”

With the Battlefield 6 multiplayer reveal finally concluded, EA and the Battlefield Studios had one last surprise to share with fans.

Although the teaser doesn’t outright say Battle Royal, it was confirmed by Battlefield’s Global Community Manager, Kevin Johnson, who took to X to say the mode is coming soon to Battlefield Labs.

Based on the short teaser video, there’s not a whole lot to really say about the mode outside of the confirmation of vehicles, destruction, and, of course, the massive ring of fire that seems to be engulfing everything it touches.

Now the question is, will we see the Battle Royal mode alongside Battlefield 6 this October? That’s anyone’s guess, but seeing that it’ll be playable in Labs soon, we’d put our money on the mode launching within a few months of the core experience.

Battlefield 6 arrives on October 10, 2025, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with an open beta beginning next month.
