In Battlefield 6, players will be able to choose from four different classes to play as, which will determine how they can contribute to their team’s success.

While Battlefield 6 will feature the franchise’s now-standard four classes: Assault, Engineer, Support and Recon, each class has different abilities, signature weapon and signature trait associated with each. Before anyone reacts negatively with the word “abilities,” this isn’t the same as Battlefield 2042’s, so there’s no semblance of the game being a hero shooter.

These abilities are more about what each class can do that the other classes can’t. Not only that, but there are also Training Options available as well, which act as passive bonuses for classes over the course of the match.
