Battlefield 6 Reveal Delivers Story Details, Official Screenshots, as We Get Our First Look at the Campaign

As promised, EA has officially revealed Battlefield 6 today! The reveal trailer gives us a solid look at the campaign, and it looks to bring the drama and action, as it’s a serious affair through and through.

Interestingly enough, the trailer starts with the “Battlefield Studios” logo flashing, which I gather is the name the multi-studio effort EA is doing with this year’s entry.

Alongside the trailer, we also get a slew of official screenshots, which include our first look at who appears to be the campaign’s main antagonist.

Battlefield 6 Reveal Trailer Teases an Explosive Campaign

Per the press release sent out, it mentions how the trailer gives us a “first look at Pax Armata, a Private Military Corporation bankrolled by former NATO states whose agenda threatens to throw the world into global conflict. This sets the scene fWor what players can expect on the battlefield – both in multiplayer and the return of the series’ single player campaign.”

We also have the official description of Battlefield 6, which states:

Lock & load for the ultimate all-out warfare experience. Fight in high-intensity infantry combat. Rip through the skies in aerial dogfights. Demolish your environment for a strategic advantage. In a war of tanks, fighter jets, and massive combat arsenals, your squad is the deadliest weapon. This is Battlefield 6.

We also get our first official screenshots of the campaign, which also includes the main baddie (at least that’s what I got from the trailer).

When it comes to the multuplayer, that will be revealed next week, July 31! EA’s press release states, “On Thursday, July 31 at 11:30 AM PDT / 14:30 PM EDT, a blockbuster multiplayer reveal event will be held live with the developers from Battlefield Studios. This is the biggest moment in Battlefield history, and it’s one you won’t want to miss. ”

Will we get a release date announcement at the multiplayer reveal? I wouldn’t be surprised if we do. Rumors mention that Battlefield 6 will be released on October 10, and be available in two variants. EA hasn’t announced anything now, but if BF6 is targeting a 2025 release, expect that announcement to come sooner rather than later.

Another thing EA confirmed recently is an open beta, which has no date for now.
