For those who have been wondering how exactly the team behind Borderlands 2 was going to implement the highly anticipated new level cap, Gearbox president Randy Pitchford has recently shed some light on this situation.
He revealed via twitter that the community’s concerns over the much anticipated level-cap raise is being addressed with a DLC that they are currently working on. Unfortunately for you season pass holders, it seems that this particular DLC will not be included in the Borderlands 2 Season Pass and will have to be purchased separately.
Nothing else is known about this DLC, other than it is set to raise the level cap, but as information surfaces, we will surely keep you guys updated.
Speaking about DLC, Borderlands 2 has recently released an add-on disc that should be available at your local video game retailer now. It will contains the following items:

The Borderlands 2 add-on disc will set you back about $29.99 USD, and will require a copy of Borderlands 2 to work.
