Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Gets Behavior Reports for Moderation and Toxicity
Activision’s Call of Duty team plans to build a better community for its players by reducing toxicity within Black Ops 6. With technology improving so much over the years, Call of Duty now has better means to impact its community and keep it safer. The game will be able to monitor ongoing behaviors from certain players, which will allow those players to be punished or banned for violating the terms of use.
A Progress Report was released today that goes over the Disruptive Behavior which goes over the results of what upgrades have been made to the Call of Duty anti-toxicity tools. These are designed to be able to monitor any toxicity that would happen during the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Call of Duty is known for being a game that houses a lot of toxicity when it comes to some of its community players, especially in older versions of the game like Modern Warfare 2019.
However, with the new approach that will be beginning with Black Ops 6, there will be a Community Sift that will support text moderation, which will block certain words or phrases that have been preset by the developing team. It was shared in the report that in August the moderation of messages which from 14 to a total of 20 languages. Below are the ones they have so far:

- French
- Italian
- German
- Spanish
- Portuguese
- Russian
- Polish
- Japanese
- Korean
- Arabic
- Chinese
- Turkish
- Dutch
- Thai
- Vietnamese
- Indonesian
- Finnish
- Romanian
The Call of Duty team has also created a new analysis and data system to monitor username reports, allowing for better accuracy in identifying toxic users. The system will analyze text in real-time to make the game as safe as possible for all its users, including blocking over 45 million messages that violate the Call of Duty Code of Conduct, which was updated last November.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released this October 25 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
