Call of Duty Warzone Area 99 Map Revealed; All Perks, Quality-of-Life Updates and Infinite Tac Sprint Detailed
In case you didn’t know, Call of Duty: Warzone will have a new map this year, and it’s called Area 99! This was revealed in full at Call of Duty Next where Activision also revealed more details about it, and of course, a deeper look into the map.

In addition to the map flythrough, a ton of info about COD: Warzone’s perks when Black Ops 6 integrates with it have been revealed!
New Warzone Perk System (Black Ops 6 Integration):
– ‘Pick 3’ Perk
– Some under used perks now combined together
– 18 Perks total, 5 new
– Lootable Perks are back with 6 Perks in Ground Loot
Check out the 18 Perks players will be able to choose from in loadouts for Warzone!
COD Warzone Perks List (Black Ops 6 Integration):
In addition to that, the six Perks in Warzone Ground Loot has been revealed as well, and these will be available come Season 1 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone!
Warzone Ground Loot Perks (Season 1):
– Veteran
– Dexterity
– Tracker
– Cold Blooded
– Tempered
– Alertness
– Specialist
– Shrouded (exclusive to loot)
– Irradiated (exclusive to loot)
Quality-of-Life Updates Coming to Warzone:
– Weapon rarity outlines
– Pick up a self-revive while downed state
– Downed enemies don’t trigger high alert
– Bounty threat level sound queue
– Reduced in-game splashes
– Minimized loot cards when looking at loot
– Med cabinets loot drop improvements
– Live ping duration reduction
– Pinging loot triggers a navigation ping

Finally, at Call of Duty Next, content creators flew in and played the game live on the show! Check out eight minutes of raw gameplay where Area 99 is showcased.
Expect Warzone’s major overhaul and new additions to be active once Black Ops 6 integrates with it on Season 1, which has no start date just yet.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set for release this October 25 on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The closed beta kicks off this weekend on August 30.
