What do you get when you combine all of the latest must-have display technologies into one gigantic 65″ monitor? The answer is Nvidia BFGD. That is: Big Format Gaming Displays.
Announced before, and to be showcased during, CES 2018, these monsters boast 4K, 120Hz, HDR and G-Sync. They’re also compatible with Nvidia Shield, meaning games can be streamed from a PC to the TV via the interwebs. Oh, and there’s Google Assistant support, too!
BFGDs for 2018 will be released by ACER, ASUS, and HP.
Nvidia has provided a brief trailer showcasing what the BFGD is all about:
Step up to big-screen PC gaming with the ultimate tear-free, stutter-free, 4K HDR 65-inch display. Powered by NVIDIA G-SYNC™, it’s a whole new way for enthusiast gamers to take on today’s top titles. The BFGD even includes NVIDIA® SHIELD™ built-in—the most advanced streamer on the planet. Get the smoothest 4K HDR video and the ultimate 4K HDR PC gaming experience, all on the big screen.
There’s not yet any word on pricing, but these monitors are sure to be pretty damn expensive. Stay tuned for more on that!
