call of duty warzone mobile new gameplay preregister

During the Call of Duty Next event today, our first look at gameplay was showcased for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, featuring an authentic first-person battle royale experience, brutal finisher and takedown animations, the return of the classic Verdansk map, and the ability to host 120 live players in a single game!

Activision and Infinity Ward also announced that pre-registrations for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile are open now, accompanied by a gorgeous cinematic trailer. Special pre-registration milestone rewards including unique emblems and blueprints will be available at launch!

Watch the gameplay showcase below:

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile was promised to be a “all-new, AAA mobile experience,” and it’s certainly living up to that promise so far. 120 player count matches with no bots is an unprecedented achievement for a battle royale game on mobile. The game fully emulates the Call of Duty: Warzone experience with no corners cut, and even features the fan-favorite Verdansk map that was removed from the original Warzone title back in December last year. Warzone Mobile even has dedicated finishers and takedowns, and the showcase made a point of showing these off performed in various situations.

Another unexpected feature in the game is Battle Pass cross-progression and shared friends lists between Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. Activision and Infinity Ward want players to feel that the three experiences are connected instead of standalone titles, and that mobile players are just as important to the Call of Duty community as other players. Even new weapons unlocks are shared between the three titles, saving players time, effort, and money and offering a truly seamless experience between Call of Duty games.
