Destiny 2 Down on March 25 to Bring Update 8.2.5.2

Another patch for Destiny 2 is headed out today, but before that happens, Bungie has to take the Destiny 2 servers down for maintenance for a few hours, affecting all platforms.

Expect patch 8.2.5.2 to be available once maintenance is over, though you will be able to download the patch even if the servers are offline.

Thursday, March 25, 2025 — Update 8.2.5.2

6:30 AM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance. Sign-on and game integration features will be unavailable on web, mobile, third-party apps, and the Bungie Store. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
7:45 AM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 2 and all APIs will be brought offline for expected maintenance. Players will be removed from activities. Destiny 1 may be impacted.
9:00 AM PST	-8 UTC	The latest Destiny 2 update will be available across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2. Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing. The Destiny 2 API will be brought online. Clan features may remain offline until maintenance is complete.
10:00 AM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude. Console players who encounter issues updating should restart their console and try downloading the update. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
