Bungie has taken the Destiny 2 servers down this March 23, and this is for scheduled maintenance where hotfix 7.0.0.6 will be rolled out.

Destiny 2 Servers Down Schedule and Info for March 23:

Update (11:30 pm ET: Bungie has announced that the servers are back to normal.

Update (10:30 pm ET): Bungie has now acknowledged the server issues:

Update: after the planned maintenance has concluded, players are now reporting of a new server outage happening right now.

Bungie hasn’t acknowledged the server outage just yet, but we’ll update the article as we know more.

7:00 AM PDT -7 UTC
    • Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance.
    • Sign-on and game integration features will be unavailable on web, mobile, 3rd-party apps, and the Bungie Store.
    • Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
7:45 AM PDT -7 UTC
    • Destiny 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance.
    • Players will be removed from activities and won’t be able to log back in until 12 PM PDT.
    • Ongoing Destiny maintenance is expected to conclude at 1 PM PDT.
12:00 PM PDT -7 UTC
    • Hotfix 7.0.0.6 will be available across all platforms and regions.
    • Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2.
    • Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
1:00 PM PDT -7 UTC
    • Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude.
    • Console players who encounter issues updating to 7.0.0.6 should restart their console and try downloading the Hotfix.
    • Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
