Destiny 2 Servers Down This March 23 for Maintenance and Hotfix 7.0.0.6 Release

Bungie has taken the Destiny 2 servers down this March 23, and this is for scheduled maintenance where hotfix 7.0.0.6 will be rolled out.

Update (11:30 pm ET: Bungie has announced that the servers are back to normal.

Update (10:30 pm ET): Bungie has now acknowledged the server issues:

We are investigating issues preventing players from logging in to Destiny 2.

More updates will be provided as they become available.

Update: after the planned maintenance has concluded, players are now reporting of a new server outage happening right now.

Bungie hasn’t acknowledged the server outage just yet, but we’ll update the article as we know more.

7:00 AM PDT	-7 UTC	Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance. Sign-on and game integration features will be unavailable on web, mobile, 3rd-party apps, and the Bungie Store. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
7:45 AM PDT	-7 UTC	Destiny 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance. Players will be removed from activities and won’t be able to log back in until 12 PM PDT. Ongoing Destiny maintenance is expected to conclude at 1 PM PDT.
12:00 PM PDT	-7 UTC	Hotfix 7.0.0.6 will be available across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2. Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
1:00 PM PDT	-7 UTC	Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude. Console players who encounter issues updating to 7.0.0.6 should restart their console and try downloading the Hotfix. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
