Destiny 2 Update September 17 Hotfix: Here’s What Got Fixed in Hotfix 2.5.2.3

destiny 2 update today

Following Destiny 2’s maintenance today, Bungie has rolled out a server-side hotfix (meaning there’s no download required). Called hotfix 2.5.2.3 by Bungie, here’s what got fixed in the Destiny 2 update September 17 hotfix.

Destiny 2 update September 17 hotfix:

  • Annual Pass content is now available to all Forsaken players of Destiny 2
  • All negative modifiers have been removed from the Reckoning
If you don’t implement the hotfix (meaning you didn’t go back to the title screen or restarted the game) by 2 p.m. PDT, you will be returned to the title screen.

Yep, that’s basically it. Of course, there’s a lot of changes planned when Shadowkeep launches this October 1, which will affect the game as a whole. You can read up on the upcoming changes here.
