Massive Entertainment’s open-world third-person shooter, The Division, won’t be seeing a 2014 release after all.
The next-gen-only project is being pushed back to launch some time in 2015 to ensure a quality release on the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, the studio announced today.
“We are creating something we are really proud of and we don’t want to compromise on quality,” said Massive in a recent blog update. “We are going to release the game when it’s ready.”
However, the studio promises to show more of The Division at this year’s E3, one year after it was first announced, so keep your eyes and ears open.
