Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Download Size

Dragon Ball fans, we’re just less than 30 days away from the release of Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero! While there’s plenty to do to prepare yourself for the next chapter of the Budokai Tenkaichi franchise, there is one crucial thing that many of you should make sure you have. We’re talking about storage space as the minimum download size for Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero has been revealed, and it’s a pretty hefty one.

Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero Download Size Will Require 100 GB of Storage:

The reveal comes from the official physical disc case of the Xbox version (pre-order renders). As shared by X user “SLO,” the Xbox game case for Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero seemingly confirms that the game will require a minimum of 100 GB of storage space to be installed.

Note that this is based on the game’s physical version minimum requirements and does not include any updates that’ll likely be available to download day one, or during the preload period.

Now, to put some perspective, here are the download sizes of the last few Dragon Ball games on PlayStation:

  • Dragon Ball FighterZ (PS5) – 8.46 GB
  • Dragon Ball: The Breakers (PS4) – 17.01 GB
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (PS5) – 19.27 GB
  • Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot (PS5) – 50.05 GB

Assuming the information above is accurate, Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero is looking to be perhaps one of, if not the largest download size for a Dragon Ball game to date. That’s not a surprise, considering it has over 180 playable characters, various modes, and other features to rack up that game size. Of course, that size may change once the preload does become available, either it being more or even possibly less.

Either way, if you plan on grabbing Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero on launch day; be sure you have the storage space for it!

Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero will be released on October 11, 2024, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, with three day early access for Deluxe and Ultimate editions.
