Devolver Digital has a pleasant surprise today for those who have purchased Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition.

In a free update, the studio will be introducing a number of multiplayer modes for the enhanced version of the Duke Nukem classic that sees 8 player co-op and competitive online multiplayer madness become a reality.

Additionally, the update also allows players from Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems to play with one another.

Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition is available on Steam for $9.99 USD. However, you can snag it before January 31 at a discounted price of $3.99 USD.
