Heads up, Survivors! Techland has released the Dying Light 2 update 1.05 (PS5 version 1.005) for consoles today! This title update is out on Xbox and PlayStation platforms, and is a small download. As one might expect, this is to implement a host of fixes the game is currently experiencing. Head on below for the full Dying Light 2 February 11 patch notes below.

While Techland has not released the official patch notes just yet, the studio did announce the list of fixes they’ve submitted for certification for the upcoming patch (which is the one we got today). Read ’em below.

PlayStation (PS4, PS5)

Size: 256MB

Ready for Implementation:

  • Issues with connection stability
  • Various situations when players could be disconnected in co-op
  • Various game crashing bugs
  • Issue with players that couldn’t sell valuables to vendor
  • Issue with music streamer mode causing one song to not be muted
  • Issue with AI being immortal in some rare situations while playing in co-op
  • Various issues with stealth gameplay in co-op
  • Various issues when AI could be blocked in geometry
  • Various AI visual adjustments
  • Various balance improvements
  • Rare issues when peers in co-op mode are unable to see dialog choices
  • Various performance optimizations
  • Fast travel limitation after the game is complete
  • Various situations that could cause infinite black screens
  • AI dead body replication in co-op
  • Occasional screen flickering on PS5

We Are Working On:

  • Various story blocks
  • Additional video settings (including motion blur)
  • Adding backup saves
  • Possibility to enable English VO if local language is not English
  • Blocks resulting in player ending in a death loop

Xbox (Xbox One, Xbox Seres X|S)

  • Issues with connection stability
  • Various situations when players could be disconnected in co-op
  • Various game crashing bugs
  • Issue with players that couldn’t sell valuables to vendor
  • Enabling of 60+fps VRR mode on Xbox Series X
  • Issue with music streamer mode causing one song to not be muted
  • Issue with AI being immortal in some rare situations while playing in co-op
  • Various issues with stealth gameplay in co-op
  • Various issues when AI could be blocked in geometry
  • Various AI visual adjustments
  • Various balance improvements
  • Rare issues when peers in co-op mode are unable to see dialog choices
  • Various performance optimizations
  • Fast travel limitation after the game is complete
  • Various situations that could cause infinite black screens
  • AI dead body replication in co-op

We Are Working On:

still no fix on ps4 where survivor sense gets glitched and you cant use it for long periods of time…lame. or the invulnerable, noninteractive howlers.

I have learned that if you spam the survivor sense Ling enough it’ll eventually work…. this could be a placebo effect but it makes me feel better nonetheless.

& still no fix for cut scenes auto skipping? A massive bug that destroys progression. Hard restart isn’t ideal just to hear NPCs. It sucks cause I’m actually into the story!

I agree, I was going to start playing it again, but I guess I’m still going to have to wait until I can actually follow the story

I’m the same way! I was hoping this update would address that because I hate having to restart just to hear what I might be missing.

I finished the story but can’t play Co-Op Hopefully the update comes outBecause my character walks on his own So I stop playing for 2 days

I had to uninstall the game to reinstall it because My character keeps moving on his own It’s all in circles when I go to the store to buy any items at freezes I have the 1.4 update

I had a trophy glitch that I only realised after playing for a week 😕😕😕😕 the trophy for getting to the Bazaar never popped AND I am miles past that point, well the first game had trophy glitches………… I never expected different in the sequel

I wonder if this will fix the solo dupe items glitch with stacking and using your stash.

No clue where these fixes are I’m on Xbox and had a patch this morning but it was the v1.04 patch ive yet to see the v1.05. At this moment the game is still broken

I’ve been falling through the map quite a bit lately and I believe it is from fast travelling to a destination while swimming so I advice people don’t do that
