EA Gives an Official Update On Skate 4, Addresses Playtest Leaks

Skate EA

Skate 4‘s team at EA has given an update on the game. In a community update, the team has thanked the fans for the positive reaction to the ‘Still Working On It‘ trailer for the game. The developers also acknowledged that sharing the first new skate gameplay trailer in 12 years was nerve-wracking, and addressed the situation about multiple leaks happening from the insider playtests.

The developers had this to say about the playtest leaks.

We’re aware of an earlier version of the game that has been distributed without our authorization. This build is from September 2021 and was never intended for external use. While we understand you’re excited to get into the game, we encourage you to be careful when downloading files from unknown sources (and remind you of the potential consequences of breaking EA’s Terms of Service). The best way to get the chance to play is by signing up for skate insider playtesting as we continue to invite more and more players into the game throughout the year.

The team also mentioned that there have been a massive number of players who signed up for the Skate playtests and that they will share more information for the game this Thursday.
