EA Sports has released the first EA Sports PGA Tour teaser trailer. Rendered within the game’s Frostbite engine, the trailer provides fans with a first look at EA’s spectacular return to golf sim games.

The game is EA’s first golf sim after 2015’s Rory McIlroy PGA Tour title. While legendary golfer Tiger Woods has since partnered with 2K Games for PGA Tour 2K23, EA’s exclusive licensing agreement with all four major men’s golfing tournaments may very well prove to outweigh Woods’ popularity with fans.
The teaser also confirms that EA Sports PGA Tour is on course for a Spring 2023 launch as announced previously. The game will not be coming to last-gen consoles, which may serve as an additional disadvantage considering that PGA Tour 2K23 is available on both PS4 and Xbox One.
