EA Sports has just released an all-new deep dive for EA UFC 5, breaking down all the new and returning game modes in this year’s UFC game. Have a look at all the EA UFC 5 game modes available at launch.
UFC 5 Game Modes:
- Fight Week – A next-level, event-driven, live service update.
- Players will have Fight Week Challenges every week, rewarding them with cosmetics such as fighter vanity items, emotes, player profile customization, and more.
- Fight Picks – You can predict fight outcomes based on real-world PPV. Correctly predicting the outcome will reward you with UFC coins.
- Fight Weeks Contracts – Daily fight offer where you can take on AI fighters, with difficulty increasing over the week. Rewards in-game currency.
- Online Career Mode
- Matchmaking is skill-based.
- Create your fighter. These will no longer be used in ranked mode but in the new online career mode.
- Division progression and title chase across four different divisions: Men’s Light, Medium, and Heavy, and women’s bantamweight.
- Win fights to earn evolution points, which go to improving attributes. Once you reach the level cap, you can prestige, which resets your level, but increases the cap.
- Career Mode
- Coach Davis is back.
- Simulation game style only – No HUD, increased damage, and increased damage drain.
- It is the most difficult and challenging legendary career mode the series has had so far.
- Fight Now
- Types – Main Card, Main Event, Championship, Backyard, and Kumite.
- Each type has had changes made to the number of rounds and rules.
- Game Styles Include – Knockout, Stand and Bang, Competitive, Simulation, and Custom.
- Ranked Online Mode
- For the more competitive players.
- Ranked is separated into 20 divisions, with challenges to complete for reaching the top.
