In its Q3 FY 22/23 financial report, Embracer Group has revealed that it has 224 projects under development for the PC and console markets which it expects to ship by FY 27/28. 31 of these 224 projects are AAA PC/console video game titles, and 19 of these games are slated for release by FY 25/26. Meanwhile, Embracer has 94 projects scheduled for release during FY 23/24, of which 58 are yet to be announced.

The interactive entertainment giant Embracer Group has reported net sales of SEK 11,622 million during the third quarter of fiscal year 2022-2023, which is a 3% decline in organic growth year-on-year. However, the nine-month April-December 2022 period saw a 3% year-on-year organic growth with SEK 28,309 million worth of net sales. Net PC/console segment sales came in at SEK 3.575 billion for the third quarter, which was a 6% decline in organic growth despite being an increase of 64% year-on-year. The PC segment individually grew by 0.5% during 2022 and is expected to grow further by 1% in 2023, but Embracer’s console games sector was assessed to decline by 4% in 2022 attributed largely to console hardware shortages.

Vis-à-vis Embracer’s plans for the future, the company has 224 projects in development for PC and consoles, which are slated to ship by FY 27/28. Of these 224 projects, 31 are AAA video game titles for PC/console platforms, and 19 of these are planned for release before March 2026. In the short term, 94 Embracer projects are slated for FY 23/24, of which 58 projects have not been announced yet. Embracer has invested SEK 8.2 billion in the development of these projects as of December 31, 2022, and additional deals expected to close as the end of FY 22/23 approaches will likely result in new projects being added to this staggering pipeline.
