EVE Online developer CCP Games recently shared its 2023 content roadmap for the space MMORPG. The roadmap is broken down into four quarters, with each segment highlighting what to expect during that given time of the year.

Notably, the game will receive two expansions throughout 2023, and players will finally be able to use spreadsheets more easily through Excel integration.

Spreadsheets have been a huge part of EVE Online, with players using them daily for all sorts of activities. EVE’s a very involved game, and with Excel integration, players can maximize profits and win battles through sheer numbers (literally).

CCP Games didn’t mention much about the upcoming expansions, but they did hint that the updates would build upon “the dynamic narrative introduced in the Uprising expansion.” Other than content updates, features such as Direct Enlistment will also be additions that players can look forward to throughout the year.

With all this content planned for just one year, CCP Games plans on going big with EVE Online in 2023. Here’s a quote from CCP Games’ Creative Director Bergur Finnbogason:

As we now enter this majestic third decade of EVE, our roadmap only scratches the surface of what we have in the works. We will continue to evolve the future of war with two expansions arriving later this year, bringing a wealth of new events, content, and features for players and our incredible community to look forward to.

EVE Online is currently free to play on PC.
