EverQuest Next is coming to the PlayStation 4 and will be taking advantage of the console’s unique social features.

Speaking to Polygon, EverQuest franchise director of development Dave Georgeson confirmed that Sony’s console will make it easier for players to share content using through a wide range of social media integration.

The PlayStation 4 version of EverQuest next will function with services like Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter, said Georegson, who expects the features to be widely used.

“Reaching out to other people through social media…it’s a given, it’ll be in Next,” he said.

In addition, as EverQuest approaches its 15th birthday, Sony Online Entertainment is prepared to add brand new content to both EverQuest and EverQuest 2.
