During the Final Fantasy 16 “Voices From Valisthea” panel at PAX West, Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy 16 next update via the “Free Update Showcase” trailer, and this adds new stuff for free! According to Square Enix, this is a patch for the game going live within 24 hours on PS5.

New Character Skins
- Clive (Burnt Black)
- Jill (Snow White)
- Torgal (Icy Blue)
Change weapon appearance to match any blade in your inventory
New Weapon – Onion Sword (This allows players to change the appearance of Clive’s weapon to any weapon in his possession while keeping the stats of the current weapon).

For the PC version of the game, the devs state they will talk about it “when the time comes,” which means, they’ll talk about it when they want to.
