Final Fantasy VII Remake Update 1.001 Released This Feb. 26 Covers Up Tifa

Final Fantasy VII Remake Update 1.001

Final Fantasy VII Remake update 1.001 is out now on PS5, and this covers up Tifa, which might sound odd, but makes sense given the game’s connection to the upcoming sequel, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth out this Thursday.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Update 1.001 Patch Notes for Feb. 26:

Square Enix only mentions this title update “fixes several bugs,” it actually covers up Tifa! While it isn’t specified what bugs were fixed, we now know that this patch changes Tifa’s outfit to make it more in line with FF7 Rebirth’s. Per the game’s Steam community, the change involves a Nibelheim flashback where a younger version of Tifa wearing a cowboy outfit featured, and this update adds a shirt to cover her cleavage (understandable since in the flashback, Tifa is 15 years old).

Speaking of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, we already ran our review, and it is an instant classic with our reviewer stating, “The gauntlet has already been thrown as a Game of the Year contender with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and it’s going to take one hell of a game to match its quality in 2024.”

You can check out FF7 Rebirth yourself, as there is a free demo out on PSN. What’s even better is Square Enix released an update to the demo that added more content.
