Fortnite Battle Royale Player Count Reaches Over 1 Million on First Day

While Bluehole might still be a little heated up over Epic Games’ Fortnite Battle Royale mode that mimics PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), it seems all that controversy might have worked in Epic’s favor. 

According to Epic, the Fortnite Battle Royale player count reached over one million players in its first 24 hours of availability! Yowza!

While Fortnite Battle Royale is free for everyone, this doesn’t make the achievement any less impressive. Will the player base increase or stick? Let’s hope so. We’ve tried it out, so expect impressions from us soon.
