Following its announcement of acquisition via PlayStation Studios, Bungie has affirmed that future games in their pipeline will not be PlayStation exclusives, as mentioned by an FAQ. This should help assuage those who are wondering if the ongoing Destiny 2 and future Bungie games will not be playable on Xbox or PC anymore, as the studio itself mentions that they have retained full creative independence even after the buyout.

Unlike Xbox and Phil Spencer being rather creative with their words with regards to the future of the Call of Duty franchise on PlayStation, Bungie has put out an official statement on their stance on the future of their titles on other platforms. Only time will tell if this will change in the future, as $3.6 billion, even compared to the Microsoft-Activision buyout, is no mere potatoes.
