It’s been nearly two months since Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed launched last October 18, and we’re now getting news of what’s to come in the foreseeable future. IllFonic revealed the first of “multiple” free Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed DLCs that are expected to come this 2023. 

Titled “The Facility,” this new map has an ’80s aesthetic to it due to the location closing down at around that time. With the facility being purchased and planned for renovation, it’s up to you to get rid of the ghosts lurking about there. The new map is expected to arrive during quarter one of 2023.

Aside from the new map, players will also get to bust a new type of ghost known as the Muncher. Here are details straight from the press release:

Immediately recognizable, this fan-favorite is the most requested Ghost IllFonic has received to date. If you are a haunting enthusiast, then you will not be disappointed to get your hands on this mischievous spirit in game.

Players will also receive new ways to customize their character, so there’s a lot to look forward to next year.
