GTA 6 Build to Be Released With Full Story Mode If Cyberleek Hits 30M Marketcap; Unless Take-Two Release Game on Disc
About two months ago, the gaming world was rocked by a massive leak for Grand Theft Auto 6 that included info, gameplay, and more.
The leaker, who apparently has a playable build, is known as “Cyberleek,” and since his initial leak, has used his build of the game to boost his cryptocurrency.
After Rockstar revealed the official gameplay look, Cyberleeks went dark but has since resurfaced this past week with more leaks that even included a 25-minute gameplay look at the upcoming blockbuster.
Today, the leaker has upped the ante, so to speak.
GTA 6 Cyberleeks Threatens to Release Playable Build Unless Demands Are Met
Cyberleaks has given an update today and is threatening to release the build that they have, which they claim is playable up to the end, “credits and all,” if the Cyberleaks cryptocurrency hits 30 million in market cap.
The only way out for Take-Two? If they release a disc version of GTA 6 and give a public apology.
The announcement reads, “CYBERLEEK hits 30 million market cap, the build goes out — full story mode, played to the end, credits and all. Don’t believe it has full story mode? Ask for what you want to see, and it gets provided. Take-Two gets one way out: physical disks and a public apology. They can take it at any moment. Or they can gamble that CI is bluffing. Everyone knows which one they’ll pick.”
I highly doubt (and hope) that Cyberleek cryto hits 30 milliion in market cap, but if it does, it’ll make Cyberleek a very rich man (or woman?). That said, I don’t think there is anyone in this world that believes Take-Two would ever cave in to the demands. I mean, not only would that create a bad precedent, but they would also not have any guarantee whatsoever that the leaker doesn’t have another build that they can blackmail again.
