GTA 6 Mocks Real Life by Simply Showcasing Real Life

What if I were to tell you that every crazy thing you saw in the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer happened in real life? No, for real, as while Rockstar Games is typically known to exaggerate things with their satirical takes, a lot of stuff featured throughout the trailer did actually happen. Ladies and gentlemen, I have bad news for you, we’ve been playing Grand Theft Auto 6 this whole time.

Rockstar Games and GTA have always played into satire, exaggerating things that have happened. Life Invader from GTA 5 is one of those examples, mocking real-life Facebook by leaning into some of its major concerns, such as privacy, only it’s blatantly advertised as part of their features rather than something hidden.

There’s plenty of that in GTA that has produced moments so outrageous that it’s hard to believe they’re true. That’s because, most of the time, Rockstar takes things up a notch, so while it’s based on real stuff, at the end of the day, it’s a joke, something that players are well aware of.

But with the release of the GTA 6 trailer now finally here, there’s a lot of “satire” that Rockstar Games is known for. The thing is, for those who live in the United States, and more so around Florida, then you’d see this time around, a good chunk of what was shown off did happen.

The Florida Leonida Man

Grand Theft Auto 6 takes place in the fictional state of Leonida. Now, if it wasn’t obvious from the trailers, Leonida is Rockstar’s version of Florida. Throughout the trailer, you see the mention of “Leonida Man,” which is their take on the “Florida Man.” Anyone who has heard that phrase understands that it is often associated with a man in Florida who makes the news under unusual circumstances. These are just some of the headlines — and yes, for everyone unfamiliar with this phenomenon, as you might call it, these are very real.

  • Florida man trapped in unlocked closet for two days.
  • Florida man riding human-sized hamster wheel in Atlantic Ocean faces federal charges.
  • Masked Florida man attacks sleeping man outside Volusia bank
  • Florida man tries to flee deputies on riding lawn mower
  • Florida man arrested for threatening Disney on Twitter
  • Florida man attempts floating to New York in home-made contraption
  • Florida man arrested while trying to warn Space Force about battle between aliens and dragons

Don’t look at me; I don’t make the rules of life. These things just happen, and they end up making headlines. The crazy thing is there are far worse ones out there.

So, after watching that GTA 6 trailer, I decided to do some research myself to see how much of the trailer happened in real life. I focused on more of the crazy moments in the trailer, and after hours upon hours of googling (it was a few minutes) and typing “Florida Man” followed by what I saw in the trailer, this is what I came up with.

Leonida Man Likes to do Yard Work “Naked” vs. Neighbors Angry With Florida Man Who Likes to do Yard Work Naked.

Cops chase naked Leonida vs. Cops Confronting Nude Florida Man at Gas Station

Leonida Women Twerks Ontop of Moving Car vs. Spring Break Girl Twerks on a Moving Car in Miami

Alligator Found In Leonida Pool vs. Alligator Found In Family Pool in Florida

Alligator walks into Leonida Convenience Store vs. Florida Man Brings Alligator Into Convenience Store

Gator Scare at Walmart

GTA 6 vs real life 10

Dual Weilding Hammer Lady Bashing Car Windshield vs. Chatsworth Woman Takes Hammer to Neighbor’s Car (Los Angeles, CA)

Leonida Joker vs. Florida Joker

I’m saying it again: we’ve been playing GTA 6 this entire time. Rockstar has reached the point where they no longer need to put in the effort to make fun of events because they’re already too bizarre to top.

I’m sorry if this story made you lose more faith in humanity.

As long as players can tell fact from fiction, the media always blames GTA for everything as it is, including suit and ties on CNN. Besides i hardly doubt that it’s unheard of for Hollywood or the game industry to get inspiration from real life events. It’s up to the fanbase to realize it’s just a movie or a game, it’s hardly anyones fault if some idiot can’t tell fact from fiction and think there a real gangster because they played to much GTA.
