Guilty Gear Strive Season 2

With the conclusion of the ARCREVO America 2021 Finals, developer Arc System Works have confirmed that they have begun development on Guilty Gear Strive Season 2, revealing new details as to what players can expect.

In a press release sent out shortly after the finals, Arc System confirmed that Guilty Gear Strive Season 2 is in development, and would feature a total of four new DLC characters. What’s more, the team also confirmed that cross-platform play between the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam versions of Guilty Gear Strive is also on it’s way. Additionally, the team did say that additional updates are currently being worked on, ones that will improve the servers, reduce connection time to the server, and stabilize network modes.

No further details on when we could expect to see these updates, or the release of Season 2, though it shouldn’t be too long before we hear more details. For now, fans will have to look forward to the release of the final DLC character, who happens to be Testament, a returning fighter.
