For those looking forward to play Halo 4 mutliplayer later this year, you may need to clear up some space on your hard drives. According to an update to the Halo 4 Xbox page, Microsoft has confirmed that the game will require a minimum of 8GB of space.

If you want to be able to have an “optimal experience”, then Microsoft suggests that you install the full Halo 4 disc, which is optional. No news on how large the full install is.

For those who own a Xbox 360 4GB Core consoles model, you may consider upgrading to a bigger hard drive if you plan on buying Halo 4. Alternatively, you can install the game on  a 8GB USB Flash Drive.
