Today, Halo 4 fans will wake up to some brand new updates from 343 Industries including a new playlist update as well as another episode of Spartan Ops.

This week’s playlist update sees the introduction of Team Snipers, an old favorite, but with a bit of a twist. In this particular version, soldiers must prove their worth with a sniper rifle alone – no secondary. It should make for some interesting close-quarter battles, should two Spartans meet face-to-face. Otherwise, it’s a good old sniping frenzy on maps like Longbow, Complex, Solace, Ragnarok, Vortex, Exile and Meltdown.

SWAT, introduced last week, will remain in Halo 4’s playlist this week as well.

It’s time to get back onto the field in another five chapters of Spartan Ops in Episode 3. Dr. Catherine Halsey, creator of the SPARTAN-II program boards the Infinity to help solve the mystery of the Forunner artifact. You can check out the introduction cinematic right here.
