In case you didn’t know, the Automatons were defeated in Helldivers 2 yesterday, but that was a short-lived victory, as they’re back today! Not only that, but the bots are taking centerstage, as the Helldivers 2 new Major Order for April 9 has been imitated in the game, and as you can guess, it involves the Automatons!

Helldivers 2 New Major Order (for April 9, 2024):

Major Order:

The Automatons have revealed their true force: a massive invasion fleet sweeping through our territory. Defenses are scrambling. Slow its advanced as much as possible.

Order Overview: Succeed in the Defense of at least 5 planets.

Duration: 2 Days, 19 Hours (at the time of this article’s publication)

MAJOR ORDER: All units to LIBCON 1. A massive Automaton Invasion Fleet, comprising tens of thousands of warships, arrived from FTL jump and began an unprovoked invasion of Cyberstan and the surrounding planets. The Reclamation has begun. pic.twitter.com/owsOFNFC6C

Speaking of Major Orders, if you’ve encountered a bug where your Medals weren’t given to you, Arrowhead Game Studios has announced (via Discord) that these should be available now to all players, with the last remaining batch to roll out in 16 hours’ time. Not only that, but the studio also confirmed that Medal distribution is getting “overhauled,” too!
